How cool is this!
Kickstarter is a platform that helps creative people find money to fund their project:
Kickstarter helps artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, and other creators find the resources and support they need to make their ideas a reality. To date, tens of thousands of creative projects — big and small — have come to life with the support of the Kickstarter community.
And recently Musketon launched this awesome idea via Kickstarter:
I will draw your house as well as 99 other houses from all over the world. Together these 100 houses will form a city. Vector City!
Musketon is an illustrator who lives in Ghent and already worked for MTV, Mazda, Nike, Steve Aoki,… And he started a hype with his Angrybear T-shirts and sweaters.
He will combine his interest in illustration and architecture and create a high-end, detailed and limited edition of art print by drawing a city of 100 houses. Houses form all over the world.
His aim is to bring people together by involing them in the process of creation. Vector City is a project of connecting people with each other via drawings. If you back this project, you will be a citizen of Vector City with only 99 other people from all over the world.
If you donate, you can pick a street name, get a drawing of your house, an airplane banner or even become the mayor of Vector City!
This is the intro video he made:
